Pastor’s Note

Christ’s church is precious, and it is a joy to be called to shepherd it.

I have watched as the Lord has done this work in ways I could not have imagined. I am grateful to him for the opportunity to be part of this new work in Rosemount, MN.

We believe that “from him and through him and to him are all things” (Rom 11:36), and we are thereby entrusted with the joyful responsibility of magnifying him in all things. We are not our own, but we belong to the Lord. We calibrate all we do here for the amplification of God’s glory through the life of our local church.

God is the radiant center of Shepherd Bible Church. We listen to his word. We trust him through prayer. We live as a transformed community of renewed humanity. We faithfully steward what he has given us. And we reach out to a lost world with the hope of the gospel.

We pray that God would use us to make disciples of all nations, that Christ might be glorified among the nations.

Beliefs

What we teach

We are committed foremost to the gospel and the essentials of the Christian faith. We teach in accord with our Doctrinal Statement, which draws on ancient creeds, confessions like the 1689 London Baptist Confession, and doctrinal statements of churches like Grace Community Church.

    Whether we are together or apart, speaking or serving, well or ill, rejoicing or mourning, we do all to the glory of God.

  2. Biblically Founded
    We shape our teaching, our ministry, our mission, our people, and everything else we do after the pattern of God’s word.

  3. Prayerfully Dependent
    We watchfully wait for our prayers to be answered. It is our pleasure to pray in every way that God would be glorified.

  4. Comprehensively Transformed
    Though we are not yet perfect, we are born again and every area of our lives is being brought under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

  5. Relationally Involved
    We want to be a church that is clearly defined and deeply committed to one another’s good through sympathy, exhortation, and encouragement.

  6. Organizationally Healthy
    Led by biblically qualified elders, served by deacons, and sustained by an active and faithful membership, we desire to be a healthy church through and through.

  7. Faithful Stewardship
    We are not our own, and we seek to give what God has first given to us. We give generously of ourselves to advance the cause of Christ in the world.

  8. Evangelistically Focused
    We strive to train and send faithful men who will bring the gospel farther than us through the planting of local churches.
